This year, Long Plain received 4 units through the CMHC Section 95 program. These four units were four bedroom
bungalows and were built by RONA. The families listed below were selected by Chief and Council for these units.

RRAP
The following band owned units were renovated through the RRAP program:

Larry Peters — 135 Ojibway Trail
Pauline Beauchamp — 136 Veteran's Trail
Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) & Insurance
Due to the extraordinary amount of rain we received in the spring of 2005, over 50 homes were flooded. Claims went in to Emergency Measures Organization for the band owned units, and also to Ranger Insurance for the CMHC units.
Clean Up
One supervisor and five crews, consisting of one foreman and four or five laborers per crew, were hired to clean up
the units damaged by the flood, ie; removal of garbage, mold, damaged poly, insulation, and drywall, and spraying each unit with a
mold inhibitor. Renovations are on-going.

Robin McLeod was hired as the Flood Relief Coordinator, Robin oversaw all aspects of the flood project re: took pictures of damaged units, liaison between EMO and tenants, and prepared spreadsheets of repair invoices.
