Image The Long Plain First Nation Community and Youth Corrections consists of the following services:

  • Probation Services
  • Intensive Supervision Program (ISP)
  • Community Resource Centre (CRC)
  • Fine Option Program (FOP)
  • Community Service Order Program (CSO)

Probation Services

During April 1, 2005 - March 31, 2006 a total of 80 active files were supervised to include:

  • Comprehensive Case Management (CCM)
  • Alternative Offender Management (AOM)
  • Administrative Supervision

The Comprehensive Case Management (CCM) cases include sex and youth offenders, domestic violence and general assault offenders (high risk, medium risk, and low risk levels).

Alternative Offender Management (AOM) involves reporting, curfew checks, community service order supervision, and follow-up with external agencies.

The three levels of Alternative Offender Management are;
Level One - high risk;
Level Two - medium risk, and
Level Three - extensive involvement with other agencies as the primary case manager and supervisor.

Community Resource Centre (CRC),
Fine Option Program (FOP), and
Community Service Order (CSO) Program

The CRC program uses services within the community of Long Plain First Nation for an individual to work off a fine or community service hours. The service site areas include Administration Building, Sanitation & Water Trucks, Arrowhead Gas Bar(s), Trust Office, Bingo Hall, Arena and Elder Assistance (household/yard maintenance). There are 4 youth being supervised through Intensive and Supervision Program
