Loss of Use Claim - Update
"In 1876, when surveyor Lestock Reid surveyed and set aside land for the Long Plain First Nation reserve, he failed to provide sufficient land to fulfill the treaty promise. As a result, Long Plain had a treaty land entitlement (TLE) shortfall. In 1982, Canada acknowledged that there was a shortfall and agreed to negotiate your TLE claim."
