Long Plain First Nation Tribal Government members are elected pursuant
to the Long Plain First Nation Election Act for a three-year term of
office. The Long Plain First Nation Tribal Government is the
governing body within the exterior boundaries of Long Plain First
Nation. The Tribal Government is comprised of one Chief and four
Council Members. The Tribal Government derives their authority at
a duly convened Tribal Government Meeting, each having one vote to form
a quorum of three.
